Front Desk Clerk
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Front Desk Clerk to join our team at our hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk, ensuring that guests receive a warm welcome and a comfortable stay. As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Checking guests in and out of the hotel.
- Managing and receiving reservations made online or by phone.
- Verifying guest payment methods during check in.
- Assigning rooms to guests and informing them of any special offers or promotions.
- Providing guests with information about the hotel and local attractions.
- Serving as a host at conferences and events held at the hotel.
- Maintaining positive guest relations at all times.
- Communicating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other staff to ensure guests' needs are met.
- Communicating with staff on the previous shift to manage guest arrivals and reservations.
- Doing laundry when necessary.
Requirements:
- High School qualification or equivalent.
- Previous hospitality experience would be advantageous.
