Job Summary:
The position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Electro Physiology Laboratory (EP LAB) located in Austin, Texas. The role involves providing circulator nursing support within the EP LAB, focusing on procedures such as ablations, device implants, and structural heart interventions. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Austin, Texas

• Position description: CONTRACT - RN - Circulator EP LAB (747) 13 weeks. Shift hours are 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a schedule of days.
• Minimum experience: Zero years (new grads welcomed).
• Certifications/Education/Experience: Candidates must have at least one year of experience in cath lab, EP lab, interventional radiology, or operating room. A current nursing license is required.
• Schedule: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional information: Permanent positions on the unit are available. The unit is composed of 6 EP labs with a staff of 25, including 18 staff members on day shift, a charge nurse, and PCTs. The unit utilizes Biosense Webster, Abbott, Boston Scientific, and Medtronic mapping systems, with Meditech electronic medical record system.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Responsibilities include supporting designated procedures, ensuring team cohesiveness, and adapting to case fluctuations and changes.
