Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)Status: Part Time HourlyFLSA classification: Non-ExemptHourly Rate: $18.00Summary of the Position: Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is a non-traditional way of providing intense individualized mental health interventions and support services in a variety of community-based settings to children/adolescents with psychiatric diagnoses and their families.These settings include, but are not limited to home, school, community settings (camp, daycare, etc.).The BHT is supervised by a Qualified Mental Health Professional, participates as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team, and implements specific treatment goals.Their goal is to implement sound clinical interventions and supportive services to enable children/adolescents to maintain and function to the best of their ability in the least restrictive setting.Flexible Schedule - up to 40 hours per week; non-traditional hours.Qualifications/Requirements:Must meet one of the following:High School Diploma or Equivalent and ability to completed 40+ hours of training ORMinimum of 2 years of experience of provision of behavioral health services ORBehavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from accredited organization ORCertification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)Experience working with at-risk youth and families.Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.Strong Verbal and Written communication skillsBilingual (Spanish) is a plus.Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance required.Benefits Available:Voluntary DentalVoluntary VisionUNUM Supplemental InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program403(b) Retirement Savings Plan.Pet InsuranceDirect DepositWeekly Competitive PayFlexible ScheduleYouth Advocate Programs, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment based on individual merit, skills, and qualifications, without regard to race, age, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, sex, military or veteran status, or disability or any other status protected by the laws or regulations in the locations where YAP operates.
