What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures access-control practices and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents medical emergencies behavioral concerns and other critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas exterior grounds parking areas and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity hazards and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Prepare clear accurate reports of incidents observations and security-related activities and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervisors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess at least two years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
