Do you turn complex supplier problems into lasting quality solutions?
Beckman Coulter Diagnostics—part of Danaher—advances clinical decision-making around the globe. Every hour, our systems run more than a million tests. Your work here helps clinicians deliver fast, confident answers for patients who depend on them.
Your challenge- Own vendor selection and qualification, ensuring robust documentation for change notifications, audits, corrective actions, and supplier scorecards.
- Design supplier material control plans embedded in product qualification to safeguard incoming quality.
- Act as the lead investigator for supplier-caused manufacturing issues—driving root-cause analysis and corrective action.
- Travel to supplier sites to troubleshoot performance concerns and prevent recurrence.
- Advise the product regulatory committee on recommended field actions when risk warrants escalation.
- Lead Kaizen workshops that simplify processes, reduce variation, implement lean practices, and remove waste to elevate efficiency and engagement.
This is an on-site position in Chaska, MN , within the Instrument Supplier Quality team, reporting to the Sr. Quality Manager, Instrument Quality .
What you’ll need- A scientific degree in a relevant field (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar).
- 5+ years of quality experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 3+ years with a master’s degree; or a doctoral degree.
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
- Experience with 21 CFR 820 and ISO 14971 .
