Parts Counterperson

Responsibilities Answer phone calls, utilizing the appropriate phone etiquette and providing price quotes and other information. Provide a high level of service to retail and internal guests. Fills orders from stock when possible. Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit an emergency order, if necessary, authorizing the transaction with a purchase order number. Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on the service repair order. Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Automotive parts knowledge required Valid Driver's License Clean driving record To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Less than high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
