Job Title Registered Nurse – PICU (Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool) Location Charleston, SC Schedule / Job Type Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 Hours/Week | Every other weekend required, holiday rotation Key Responsibilities Provide direct critical care nursing to pediatric patients in an ICU setting with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3 Float within scope of practice to all pediatric units as needed, including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in critically ill pediatric patients' conditions Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans Participate in emergency response team assignments as required, including during hurricane season (June through November) Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ICU (PICU) experience required Active South Carolina RN License or Multi-State/Compact RN License (SC license must be active prior to start date) Current BLS certification through American Heart Association (AHA) Current PALS certification through American Heart Association (AHA) Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a dynamic pediatric critical care environment with a diverse float pool experience across multiple pediatric specialty units First-time travelers with the required experience are welcome to apply Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 772271.
