Read and understand simple instructions, product labels and memos. Write simple correspondence. Present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings. Apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions. Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 45 lbs, occasionally up to 60 lbs. Desired (Optional) Basic PC/Outlook skills Retail Management Certificate Responsibilities Maintain a store section and stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavy equipment). Ensure proper pricing, validate rotation through product date codes; stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays and refrigerated/frozen cases. Prepare perishable products for sale. Set up advertising/promotional displays. Clean and maintain sanitation standards throughout the store and parking lot. Provide friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, courteous customer assistance and product information. Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles when requested. Perform basic bookkeeping duties, such as recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies.
