Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your vital role will encompass a broad range of responsibilities, including but not limited to: Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status, identifying challenges, strengths, and resources. Providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to client needs. Implementing therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused therapy to facilitate client healing and growth. Developing and executing personalized treatment plans that outline clear therapeutic goals and interventions for each client. Collaborating effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated care. Engaging in crisis intervention, performing risk assessments, and creating safety plans as necessary for clients in acute distress. Maintaining comprehensive documentation of client progress and therapy sessions in adherence to ethical and legal standards. Leading engaging group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes, designed to enhance therapeutic experiences and support community building among clients. Patient Population / Client Focus Your work will impact a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds. You will address multifaceted challenges faced by clients, which may encompass emotional turmoil, relationship discord, trauma, and stress-related issues. Qualifications The successful candidate will hold a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution and possess an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Exceptional interpersonal skills, along with a deep understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment approaches, are essential for this role. Preferred Experience While two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting is preferred, we welcome candidates driven by a passion for helping others, irrespective of their experience level. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, coupled with performance-based bonuses.
