Housekeeping Supervisor

Overview Position: Housekeeping Supervisor. Located at Parkland Health Center (Farmington Campus). Responsible for supervising housekeeping staff, ensuring compliance, and maintaining sanitation standards. Work Hours Evenings: 2:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Monday through Friday. Weekends required when needed. Responsibilities Manages employees – hires, trains, assigns work, evaluates performance, and provides professional development plans. Develops departmental staffing, revenue and expense budgets and ensures adherence to goals. Schedules work assignments and adjusts and posts schedules. Responds to and prioritizes pager requests. Conducts new‑hire orientation, training, and in‑services as needed. Performs regular inspections to ensure staff follow procedures, meet compliance and regulatory guidelines, and provide infection control. Minimum Requirements Education: High School Diploma or GED. Experience: 2–5 years relevant experience. Supervisor Experience: Less than 2 years. Preferred Requirements Education: Associate’s Degree. Experience: 5–10 years relevant experience.
