Hospice Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule: 3-12s, 7 PM - 7 AM, rotating

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 12 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• Strong clinical skills
• Experience in hospice or palliative care preferred
• Ability to provide comprehensive physical, emotional, social, and spiritual support
• Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate care to patients and families in a hospice setting.
• Assist patients in identifying personal goals of care.
• Educate and support caregivers in managing care for their family members.
• Deliver intensive medical end-of-life care in a home-like setting.
• Manage symptoms effectively across a range of diseases.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation process is 3 days, 8 AM - 5 PM before transitioning to night shift.
• On-call requirement of 2 shifts per month.
