About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Finance and Operations to play a pivotal role in the oversight and execution of all financial processes, technology, and business operations. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader, responsible for expanding thought leadership, cultivating relationships, and providing team management. This role demands a high level of innovation, strategic thinking, and a commitment to ensuring that the organization has the necessary tools and resources to achieve its mission. Key responsibilities include financial management, administration of technology and operations, and leadership of the finance, technology, and operations teams. The VP will also be involved in the organization's strategic and innovation opportunities and will be a key member of the leadership team. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance and Operations position at the company should be energetic, collaborative, and proactive, with a strong background in finance, accounting, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for a CPA, MAC, or MBA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' of relevant experience, including at least 5 years' in a managerial role within a high-growth, nonprofit environment. Thorough knowledge of GAAP and FASB as applied to nonprofits is essential, as is experience with Quickbooks Online.
