Job Description

The Physical Therapist Assistant will support physical therapy services in a rehabilitation hospital setting, focusing on the recovery of patients with various conditions, including neurological, orthopedic, cardiac issues, and more. The role involves collaboration with a dedicated team of rehab professionals to improve patient functional abilities and quality of life.

Responsibilities

Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans for patients.
Conduct therapy sessions to help patients regain mobility and functional skills.
Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding therapy goals and interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inpatient rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility setting.
Certified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license preferred.
Experience with neuro, ortho, debility, and cardiac treatment protocols.
