Job Summary: Mental Health Clinical Supervisors are critical to the success of the SERG Grant, providing clinical oversight, guidance, and support to Associate Clinicians delivering behavioral health services to individuals and communities impacted by the Los Angeles fires. This role requires strong leadership, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to balance supervision, direct support, and program oversight in both field-based and community settings. In this role, you will oversee Associate Clinicians by providing regular clinical supervision, case consultation, and professional development to ensure high-quality, ethical, and culturally responsive care. You will review and sign off on clinical hours to support licensure requirements, ensuring all documentation and services meet applicable standards, grant requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Mental Health Clinical Supervisors will support the delivery of trauma-informed, time-limited care, including assessment, diagnosis, crisis intervention, and therapeutic services. Responsibilities include monitoring clinical quality, guiding risk assessments and safety planning, supporting complex cases, and ensuring appropriate care coordination and referrals. Additionally, this role plays a key part in team leadership and program success by fostering collaboration, supporting staff well-being, and maintaining compliance with documentation standards. Supervisors will also contribute to community engagement efforts and help ensure services are aligned with the evolving needs of the impacted population. Qualifications Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Provide clinical supervision to a team of mental health clinicians (ACSWs, LCSWs, AMFTs, APCCs, LMFTs) Ensure high-quality, trauma-informed care and adherence to best practices Conduct case reviews, documentation audits, and provide clinical guidance Support crisis intervention and complex case management Monitor team productivity, caseloads, and service delivery outcomes Ensure compliance with County, Medi-Cal, and grant requirements Collaborate with leadership on program development and workflow improvements Provide direct client care as needed (reduced caseload) Support community members coping with anxiety, grief, trauma, and disaster-related stress Collaborate with clinical teams and participate in outreach events Minimum Qualifications & Requirements: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field Active California license required (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) Must be licensed for at least 2 years 3–5 years of clinical experience in behavioral health 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred Experience in community mental health, crisis intervention, or disaster response strongly preferred Knowledge of Medi-Cal documentation and compliance standards Ability to work with diverse populations across all age groups Strong interpersonal and de-escalation skillsGroup facilitation experience Bilingual (preferred, but not required): Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Korean, Armenian, and Persian. Comfortable providing mental health support to the following individuals: Youth, particularly Transitional Age Youth (TAY) and elementary age youth, Parents, Families, and Caregivers for Young Children, Older Adults, Veterans, Individuals at high-risk for domestic violence, Individuals at high-risk for suicide, LGBTQ+ Communities, African American communities, Latin and Hispanic populations, Native American/Tribal communities, Pacific Islander Demographic. Regulatory & Compliance Expectations: Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, including DHCS, DSS, and Joint Commission standards. Follow company policies on safety, confidentiality, and ethical conduct. Participate in audits, training, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
