Job Title: Server Location: Margaritas Job Summary: At Margaritas, we are seeking a friendly, energetic, and professional Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and customer service, possessing the ability to provide exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server at Margaritas, you will be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. You will need to have a polished appearance, be detail-oriented, and committed to providing outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities: Greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner. Ensure that guests are seated in a timely manner and assist in the seating arrangement to optimize restaurant space. Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and beverage. Exhibit a thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings, menu items and their preparation methods, ingredients, and allergens. Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff promptly. Serve food and drinks to guests, and check on guest satisfaction. Resolve customer complaints politely and promptly. Manage multiple tables and tasks in an efficient manner. Prepare final bill, present it to guests, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change accurately. Maintain cleanliness and condition of the work areas and equipment. Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage. Skills and Qualifications: Proven work experience as a server, waiter, or waitress. Excellent presentation skills, always demonstrating a professional image. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment. Active listening and effective communication skills. Team spirit and a positive attitude. Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings. High school diploma: food safety training will be considered a plus. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time. Must be able to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 pounds. Ability to bend, twist, and stoop to retrieve items from floor, shelves, and overhead.
