A skilled nursing facility is hiring a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. This position is ideal for someone dependable, hands-on, and attentive to detail.

Schedule:

• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• Maintain cleanliness throughout resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces

• Prepare rooms for new admissions to ensure they are move-in ready

• Clean and disinfect furnishings, fixtures, ledges, restrooms, and heating/AC units

• Handle and distribute clean linens and assist with linen delivery throughout the facility

• Remove trash and support overall sanitation efforts across the building

• Assist with stripping and waxing floors as needed

• Break down and set up areas as needed for cleaning and facility operations

• Assist with snow shoveling and weather-related cleanup as needed

• Participate in special cleaning projects and other assigned facility tasks

• Follow established housekeeping procedures and regulatory guidelines

• Complete assigned tasks under the direction of the Housekeeping Director

• Perform physical duties, including lifting up to 75 pounds

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong attention to detail and a dependable work ethic

• Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience required

• Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus

• Ability to communicate effectively in English
