JAMHI Health & Wellness, Inc. is seeking a mission-driven and dedicated Intake Coordinator who can help our organization thrive as we help people live their own best lives. Join us as an Intake Coordinator and play a key role in helping clients access timely, coordinated services across JAMHI programs. The Intake Coordinator is responsible for helping clients access services by identifying client needs, routing them to the proper service line, maintaining client engagement throughout the intake process, and triaging clients experiencing a behavioral health crisis. This role is essential in reducing barriers to care and creating a welcoming, responsive experience for clients as they begin services with JAMHI.

You will collaborate closely with clinical and administrative staff to ensure intake and documentation requirements are completed accurately and efficiently without interrupting or delaying care. You will communicate program requirements clearly, coordinate next steps with clients and providers, and help ensure referrals move smoothly through the intake process. You will also maintain accurate records, support timely follow-up, and help identify and address barriers that may prevent clients from successfully engaging in services.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License

AND

• Three years of social service, behavioral health, or complex care navigation experience using an EHR

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual or multilingual ability

Pay rates offered are determined based on a standardized scale that considers relevant experience and education. All JAMHI positions require the ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with the current state regulation requirements and a valid Alaska driver's license and be able to clear the JAMHI auto insurance screening through the independent insurance carrier if driving.
