Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ER experience and a KY or compact RN license.

Details

• mentients requreceived treat a wide range of emergency cases
• Uses cardiac monitoring equipment for arrythmmia interpretation and management
• Night shiftrotation on a 3x12 schedule (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
• Candidates may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital

Requirements

• Active RN license (KY State or Compact) currently in hand
• , requNo licensure hhits will be accepted
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• requires certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
• CPI and ENPC certifications are preferred
• Level I Trauma Center experience is preferred but not required
• Experience with care of ventilated patients and continuous IV sedation is preferred
• Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Triage experience preferred
• First-time travelers considered only if candidate has Level I trauma ER experience

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care including triage, cardiac monitoring, and dysrhythmia management
• RTO requests longer than 1 week are not approved except under special circumstances
• RTO must be disclosed prior to consideration; requests submitted afterward will not be approved
• Local candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Returning permanent staff must have been separated from all UK-affiliated facilities for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• Candidates with any licensure hits will not be considered
