Restaurant Executive Chef

Job Description

The Restaurant Executive Chef leads a large culinary team specializing in local and regional cuisine, overseeing food cost management and both food and beverage operations. This role focuses on maintaining high culinary standards and efficient kitchen management through various software tools while not participating in menu pricing decisions or travel obligations.

Responsibilities

Manage food cost to optimize budget and minimize waste
Oversee food and beverage operations ensuring quality and consistency
Lead and coordinate a large team of 16+ culinary staff
Utilize manual, spreadsheet-based, standard POS, and proprietary systems for kitchen and inventory management
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Maintain a strong focus on local and regional cuisine offerings

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years experience in culinary arts
