The role As an Electrical Engineer, you will design, develop, and test the electrical systems and PCBAs that power Vale’s automated matcha machines. Design electrical schematics and PCB layouts for Vale’s hardware systems Select and qualify components including power management ICs, microcontrollers, and sensors Conduct design reviews (schematic and layout) and lead PCB bring-up and validation Develop and execute electrical test plans and characterization studies Collaborate with Firmware engineers on hardware/software co-design Ensure designs meet relevant safety standards and regulatory requirements Manage ECOs and maintain electrical documentation in PLM and design file systems Qualifications Legally authorized to work in the United States 4+ years of electrical engineering experience in product hardware development Proficiency in PCB design tools such as Altium, KiCad, or Cadence Experience with analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and motor drive circuits Hands-on experience with bench equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, and network analyzers Familiarity with safety standards (UL, CE, or IEC) a strong plus Compensation $100,000 – $138,000 per year Benefits Company funded ORCA card Medical, dental, and vision benefits Annual bonuses Joining a fun startup in Seattle
