This role requires strong analytical skills to anticipate and address potential scheduling risks while working closely with project managers, leadership, and teams to ensure that schedules are optimized, risk are minimized, and project goals are met on time.Position ResponsibilitiesIdentify potential scheduling risks and bottlenecks across the projectAnalyze project timelines, dependencies, and constraints to determine areas of riskDevelop and implement strategies to minimize risks and optimize project schedulesCreate, maintain and update project schedules to ensure timely deliveryWork closely with project managers to understand project scope and objectivesCoordinate with team leads to guarantee resource availability aligns with the project timelineRegularly monitor project progress to identify any deviations from the schedule planProvide risk-based reporting to leadership, including status of risk mitigation strategiesDevelop and maintain risk reports, tracking changes and escalating significant issues as neededOther duties as assignedBasic Job RequirementsAccredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and ten (10) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to fourteen (14) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirementsAbility to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitorsJob related technical knowledge necessary to complete the jobAbility to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelinesAbility to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective mannerOther Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in business, project management, engineering, or relevant discipline plus 10 years of experience in risk management and scheduling or relevant disciplineProven experience as a scheduler, project coordinator and/or risk managerStrong understanding of risk management principles and scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, etc.)Preferred QualificationsPossess practical experience in the use of the automated cost or schedule management systemsWe are an equal opportunity employer.
