VCA Laguna Niguel Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our team full-time ! Our primary care practice is located in the heart of the beautiful city of Laguna Niguel. As a two-doctor hospital, we offer wellness and sick visits, general surgery and dentistry, in-house laboratory and radiology, and reference laboratory services.

Location: 28892 Crown Valley Pkwy, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677

\n

Schedule: Full-Time, 4 or 5 x8, including Saturdays, no Sundays

\n

Salary: $ 26 - $ 30 / hour

\n

\n

Duties may include:

  Anesthesia Induction and Monitoring

\n
• \n

  Surgery prep and Assisting

\n
• \n

  Dental Scaling, Cleaning, Polishing & Radiographs

\n
• \n

  Patient Recovery

\n
• \n

  Animal Restraint

\n
• \n

  Subcutaneous, Intramuscular, and Intravenous injections

\n
• \n

  Administering Medications & Subcutaneous Fluids

\n
• \n

  Venipuncture and IV Catheterization

\n
• \n

  Technician Appointments

\n
• \n

  Filling Prescriptions

\n
• \n

  Diagnostic Radiographs

\n
• \n

  Monitoring Hospitalized Patients

\n
• \n

  Client Communication

\n

\n
