The facility has 361 licensed beds and a Level 2 trauma designation. It operates as a teaching hospital with a residency program. The patient types include general ED population for trauma, stroke, and cardiac events. Medical-surgical floors handle a variety of patients, including those with infections, cancer, and surgical needs. The critical care areas consist of stepdown units and specialized observation units. Responsibilities include monitoring patients and managing cardiac titratable drips. Support staff will be available, including nurse techs, respiratory therapists, and security. All nursing staff are expected to work collaboratively and assist each other. The schedule includes weekend rotations and holiday expectations. Requests for time off will be considered if contract extensions are made. Scrub color for this position is navy. The department emphasizes teamwork and prompt patient care.
