Job SummaryApply metal to customer orders and accurately process material according to the work order specifications using advanced machinery or having an advanced level of skill in the use of warehouse machinery. Ensure that processing equipment is maintained in a safe and clean condition. Maintain processing area in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Complete all required information entry accurately. Perform any other tasks as assigned.Job Descriptionup to $20.50 per hourKey Accountabilities:Perform sorting, stacking, cleaning, washing, stocking and inspection of cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned to support the operation.Assist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork according to instructions.Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move/deliver stockAssist machine operators with a variety of functions as required to support the operation.Perform general clean-up activities.Maintain all equipment in working condition; report issues or breakdowns to Supervisor or Lead immediately.Train others when required.Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes/CompetenciesMinimum Requirements:High school diploma / GED1 to 2 years machine operation experienceAbility to read and writeAbility to lift and carry up to 40 lbsPerform basic math skillsUse of handheld measuring toolsSafety Mindset.Preferred Requirements:Previous warehouse experience - especially in the metals industryPrevious forklift experienceComputer literateThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
