Location & Facility Facility: GSS MN St James Pleasant View Location: Saint James, MN Address: 1000 2nd St S, St James, MN 56081, USA Shift: Day Job Schedule: PRN Weekly Hours: Varies Salary Range: $37.50 - $62.00 Department Details Flexible schedule, Patient centered care, Great team Job Summary Plans, organizes and delivers physical therapy programs that help clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength and prevent deformities. Conducts examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease. Utilizes tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards. Documents client/patient/resident information for evaluation; establishes therapeutic plans and modifies them as necessary. Educates clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans/schedules and self-exercises for home use. Demonstrates knowledge of and uses appropriate age-related treatments and evaluations. Incorporates current research into daily treatment of clients/patients/residents. May treat individuals of all ages with varying diagnoses and disorders. Demonstrates documentation in accordance with departmental guidelines and meets all regulatory requirements. Follows accepted clinical practice guidelines of professional organizations. Exhibits flexibility with variable work schedules/assignments. Participates in activities to promote the department, Good Samaritan Society, and Sanford Health. Interacts with external providers, case managers, third party payers, public organizations, companies/contractual partners, etc. May supervise assistants, aides, and students providing care or treatment. Provides ongoing education and training to peers as directed by leadership. Performs other duties as requested by manager. May focus on post-acute, long-term care, and home health care environments. Qualifications Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure. Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in the state(s) of practice. Valid driver's license may be required. Maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications. BLS for health care providers required or within the first 60 days.
