Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA)
Must-Have: Experience with Siemens MRI

Description:
The MRI department has 3 machines in the clinic and 1 machine in the hospital.
Staff may float between inpatient and clinic settings.
Common imaging and studies performed include L2 traumas.
The average number of scans conducted daily is approximately 38.
There are 7 staff members in the department until 4:30 PM, with 2 staff members available afterward.
On weekends, one staff member works independently, with assistance available if needed.
The department utilizes Cerner and Siemens PACS for electronic medical records.
The lead tech supervises the department during the day.
Staff are required to start IVs as part of their duties.
Shifts follow a 7 on and 7 off rotation schedule.
Weekday shifts run from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, while weekend shifts run from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Weekend and holiday work is part of the rotation.
There is also a call requirement during the 7 on rotation.
Scrubs are provided for staff.
Up to 1 week of department-specific orientation may be necessary.
All clinicians are required to clock in and out during their shifts.
