Pediatric Hospitalist Midland, MI

Pediatrix is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist to provide exceptional inpatient care at MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland, Michigan.

Join a high-performing, multidisciplinary team where you ll manage a broad spectrum of pediatric cases from acute medical conditions to surgical consults delivering comprehensive, compassionate, and patient-centered care to infants, children, and adolescents.

In this pediatric hospitalist role, you will play a vital part in shaping the inpatient pediatric experience, ensuring high-quality care delivery while collaborating closely with specialists, nursing teams, and community providers. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a supportive environment with a strong focus on clinical excellence and teamwork.

• Provide direct inpatient care, including daily rounds, admissions, and discharges
• Interpret diagnostic studies, prescribe medications, and manage ongoing treatment plans
• Perform essential pediatric procedures such as IV placement, lumbar punctures, and resuscitations
• Collaborate with subspecialists, surgeons, and primary care providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to resident education and mentorship

• Care provided within a Level II NICU / Special Care Nursery environment
• Practice based at MyMichigan Medical Center Midland, a respected regional healthcare facility
• Out-of-house call model supporting improved work-life balance
• Structured 24-hour shift schedule
• Collegial, team-oriented culture with strong clinical and administrative support

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics

• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency Program

• Eligible for Michigan medical licensure
