Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – PRN Autumn Lake at Cromwell | Cromwell, CT $35–$40/hour | PRN We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a PRN opportunity at Autumn Lake at Cromwell. This flexible position is a great fit for a PTA who enjoys working directly with residents to improve mobility, build strength, and support greater independence throughout the rehabilitation process. What You'll Do Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist Assist residents with strengthening, balance, gait training, transfers, endurance, and mobility exercises Follow individualized treatment plans established by the supervising PT Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress to the therapy team Reinforce safe movement techniques and therapeutic strategies Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation Collaborate with rehabilitation staff and other members of the interdisciplinary team What We Offer $35–$40/hour Flexible PRN scheduling Supportive and collaborative rehabilitation team Short-term rehabilitation and long‑term care caseload Opportunity to expand your clinical experience Positive, team‑focused work environment Qualifications Active Connecticut Physical Therapist Assistant license required Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to providing quality, resident‑centered care Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply If you're a PTA looking for a flexible PRN opportunity where you can help residents make meaningful progress in strength, mobility, and independence, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr Stern Therapy Consultants
