Finance Controller (CPA) Direct Hire | Gray, TN | $115,000 Annually + 5% Bonus Job Title: Finance Controller (CPA) Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Salary: $115,000 per year + 5% bonus Cornerstone Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Finance Controller (CPA) for a direct-hire opportunity with our client in Gray, Tennessee . This is an excellent opportunity for a finance leader with a strong background in manufacturing, financial reporting, and multi-site accounting to oversee financial operations and serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership. The ideal candidate will bring extensive accounting expertise, strong leadership skills, and experience managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and internal controls across multiple locations. Lead the finance and accounting function, providing strategic financial guidance to executive leadership. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting. Prepare consolidated financial statements and corporate reporting packages, including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations. Coordinate financial operations across multiple sites, standardizing accounting procedures and reporting practices. Oversee manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing, and profitability analysis. Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections, and financial planning. Analyze financial performance, key performance indicators, and budget variances to support business decisions. Manage banking relationships, working capital, cash positioning, and liquidity. Establish and maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. Coordinate external audits and work with auditors, bankers, tax advisors, and corporate finance teams. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team across multiple locations. Partner with operations, procurement, quality, and site leadership to improve financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities. Support acquisitions, new locations, capital expenditure planning, and other growth initiatives. Travel to company locations as needed to support audits, inventory reviews, and process improvements. Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. ~ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ~8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience. ~ At least 3 years of experience in a Controller, Finance Controller, or similar finance leadership role. ~ Demonstrated experience preparing consolidated financial statements and corporate reporting packages. ~ Experience managing financial operations across multiple sites, plants, or legal entities. ~ Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting, inventory management, and standard cost systems. ~ Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing accounting software. ~ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools. ~ Ability to present financial results and recommendations to executive leadership. ~ Willingness to travel to company locations as needed. Experience in manufacturing, electronics, aerospace, defense, or industrial environments. MBA or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. Experience with financial consolidation and corporate reporting systems. Experience integrating acquired businesses or new locations into established financial processes.
