What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the PACU, closely monitoring patient recovery post-surgery
• Utilize the nursing process to assess patient status and implement appropriate interventions
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
• Delegate and supervise licensed and ancillary team members to ensure safe patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about recovery procedures and discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, including OSHA and hospital policies
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records

What You Need

• Current RN license in Louisiana
• Minimum of 2 years' PACU or perioperative nursing experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications from the American Heart Association and Crisis Prevention Institute
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse patient populations and work under pressure
