Part-Time/Hybrid Registered Dietitian Position – 50% Remote

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to provide nutrition care at a skilled nursing facility in San Bernardino, CA. This part-time opportunity offers a blend of onsite patient care and remote work, with ongoing support from our dedicated team.

Position Details

• Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility
  

• Schedule: 8–12 hours per week
  

• Onsite Requirements: One onsite visit per week
  

• Remote Flexibility: Up to 50% of weekly hours may be completed remotely.
  

• Compensation: $40.00–$45.00 per hour, depending on experience.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments and follow-ups for residents identified at nutritional risk.
  

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
  

• Monitor weight trends, oral intake, laboratory values, skin integrity, and other indicators of nutritional status.
  

• Recommend appropriate nutrition interventions, including therapeutic diets, oral nutrition supplements, and enteral nutrition support as indicated.
  

• Collaborate with nursing, dietary staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to support resident health and quality of life.
  

• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and caregivers.
  

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the facility’s medical record system.
  

• Participate in care conferences, quality improvement activities, and nutrition-related meetings as needed.
  

• Follow facility policies and applicable standards for nutrition care in a skilled nursing setting.
  

• Perform additional duties within the dietitian’s scope of practice as needed.
  

Experience & Qualifications

• Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD/RDN).
  

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
  

• Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
  

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
  

• Familiarity with electronic medical records and interdisciplinary care planning.
  

• Ability to work independently and manage a part-time hybrid schedule.
  

• Availability to complete one onsite visit each week in San Bernardino, CA.
