Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.The Sprinkler Test & Inspect Sr Technician is responsible for independently performing inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems. This position demonstrates strong technical competency, holds applicable licenses, and is capable of completing jobs independently. The Senior Technician guides or supports entry-level employees and contributes to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Independently perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.Diagnose system deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete assigned tasks.Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.Complete required documentation and inspection reports accurately and timely.Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.Guide and support entry-level technicians and apprentices.Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Follow all safety procedures and company policies.Travel to job sites as required.Other duties as assigned by management.Education/Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.5+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry as a technician.Must have state inspection license.NICET Level II or above preferred.Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, codes, and inspection procedures.Must have a clean driving record and active driver's license (if driving is required).Other Duties:Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.Performs other duties assigned by management.Physical Requirements:Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.Ability to lift 50+ pounds.Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.Benefits and Perks:Excellent payMedical, dental, visionCompany paid life insuranceCompany paid short-term disability401K with employer matchPaid vacation and company holidaysTraining and Career DevelopmentCompany vehicle (if job applicable)Immediate qualification for the ALL In Ownership Plan for all eligible full-time employeesPye-Barker Fire & Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
