About the Role

Chicken Express is looking for a dependable, motivated Shift Leader / Team Leader to help oversee daily operations, support team members, and ensure every guest receives fast, friendly service. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys leading by example, thrives in a fast‐paced environment, and wants to grow into higher management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise team members during assigned shifts
• Ensure high standards of food quality, accuracy, and presentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized restaurant environment
• Train and coach new employees on procedures and service standards
• Handle shift‐level decision‐making, problem‐solving, and customer concerns
• Manage cash handling, register counts, and shift paperwork
• Monitor food prep, inventory levels, and product rotation
• Support drive‐thru and front‐counter operations as needed
• Uphold Chicken Express policies, safety guidelines, and brand expectations
• Communicate clearly with management about shift performance and needs

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or retail leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stay calm and organized under pressure
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to excellent customer service
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
