Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Observation Unit position requiring 2+ years of PCU experience and FL or compact RN licensure.

Details

• 48-bed PCU Observation Unit
• Patient ratios of 4-5:1
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float, including possibly to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Nursing degree accreditation documentation required
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing

Additional Information

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel positioning, with strict verification of residency
• Must commit to securing full-time housing in the area for the duration of the assignment
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as it will not be approved after start
• Orientation begins on a Friday, with remote orientation followed by an in-person visit for badge and ID
• Galaxy Blue or White scrubs required
