Experienced Asphalt Raker

Job Title: Experienced Asphalt Rakers Rummel Construction is seeking experienced Asphalt Rakers. You should have experience working on paving projects and a strong commitment to safety. This safety‑sensitive position involves working around heavy construction equipment with knowledge of hazards, safety precautions, and awareness of paving requirements for a variety of projects. You will work with a team of experienced employees who prioritize safety and collaboration. Our typical schedule is Monday through Friday, although some projects may require weekend work. Responsibilities Identify and correct areas of asphalt surface that are uneven or defective. Rake asphalt to create the desired surface texture. Perform other related duties as assigned, such as shoveling, cleanup, and general labor. Work safely in all weather conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet, etc.). Qualifications Approximately 1+ year of experience in construction. Experience in paving and heavy construction with knowledge of paving a variety of projects.
