Field Service Engineer II - Wichita Falls, Texas

Field Service Engineer II at Abbott's Diagnostics Division providing technical support for diagnostic instruments in the Wichita Falls, Texas territory. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex laboratory equipment while ensuring regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair diagnostic instruments to ensure optimal performance and quality compliance
- Diagnose technical issues, document resolutions, and close service calls within defined timelines
- Manage customer issues from resolution to escalation and build lasting relationships
- Plan territory service visits, manage inventory, and support on-call rotation and after-hours coverage
- Meet service sales targets and key performance indicators for assigned accounts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
- 2-5 years experience in engineering or laboratory technology
- Valid driver's license and local to Wichita Falls, Texas
- Ability to travel 50% within assigned territory
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with laboratory instrumentation
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and remote computing tools
Compensation: $26.50–$53.00/hour
