INVENTORY SPECIALIST/MATERIAL HANDLER - GALESVILLE, WI

Description Multistack , the leading manufacturer and creator of modular chiller systems, is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our Galesville team. This individual will be responsible for assessing and monitoring warehouse transactions, tracking inventory, entering data into relevant databases, and recognizing and resolving quantity discrepancies. Multistack is located in Sparta, a short 20‑minute drive from La Crosse. Responsibilities Work with production, purchasing, and scheduling to ensure that all required components are accounted for as we build to our production schedule. Work with purchasing to assist with accurate ordering of materials and recording of inventory. Work with production to make sure each area has the required parts for the day’s work assignments and issue materials in our database. Work with receiving clerk to ensure parts are placed in the correct location. Interact with disciplines to identify and address part shortages. Facilitate the moving of materials from various locations to the production floor. Attend all production meetings with updates on workflow. Optimize inventory space using continual organizational improvements. Coordinate inventory transportation between the Sparta and La Crosse warehouses. Update Bills of Materials. Perform regular inventory cycle counts. Assist with year‑end physical inventory. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Inventory control experience. Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Strong communication skills.
