Job Responsibilities

• Customize Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and craft tailored therapy approaches aiming for their functional goals
• Implement Therapeutic Practices: Employ research-driven strategies to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily living tasks
• Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to provide all-encompassing, patient-focused care
• Educate Patients and Families: Train patients and their families on therapeutic methods that can drive continued improvement at home
• Track Patient Progress: Monitor treatment effectiveness, document changes, and adapt approaches as necessary to keep patients on track

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
• Ongoing education or additional certifications are highly encouraged and supported

Certifications Required

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
