About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ICU License: Active RN Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (within 180 days of hire), TNCC (within 180 days of hire), NIHSS (within 90 days) Must-Have: - Previous charge experience is preferred - Experience with Epic charting system is required - Travel experience is required Description: Accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care. Involves direct patient care, patient and family education, and transitions of care in an acute patient setting. Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in the assigned area. Develops, implements, and coordinates a plan of care that incorporates various factors affecting the patient. Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their family or support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers. Communicates effectively and timely to enhance the patient experience. Adheres to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations. Maintains a patient ratio of 2:1 during days, nights, and weekends. Float to other areas may be required occasionally. Weekend shifts include every other Saturday and Sunday, with holiday coverage as needed.
