Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity seeks a skilled outpatient pharmacist to provide expert prescription verification and patient counseling services. Scheduled per diem shifts are available on select dates in June and July 2026. The role supports a low-volume outpatient clinic setting, requiring attention to detail and strong communication skills to ensure optimal patient care.
Responsibilities include:
- Verifying low-volume prescriptions accurately
- Offering patient counseling and medication guidance
- Managing standard outpatient pharmacy duties
The position requires:
- An active Iowa pharmacist license
- Previous pharmacist experience, preferably in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings
Work schedule for June and July 2026:
- June 12th: 8 AM to 5 PM
- June 18th-19th (no pharmacy technician support): 8 AM to 5 PM
- July 17th: 1 PM to 5 PM
- July 31st: 8 AM to 5 PM
Location: Eagle Grove, IA
Housing is fully covered during assignment dates, adding convenience to this per diem opportunity.
