Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, which include abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during exams, gently guiding them through each step of the process
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic outputs
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, addressing any malfunctions immediately
• Meticulously document procedures and maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical system
• Keep up with advancements in ultrasound technology and ensure best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
