About the Role:
CQI Home Inspections is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Home Inspector to join our growing team in Hollywood, MD. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough residential home inspections including structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Prepare and deliver detailed, accurate inspection reports in a timely manner
- Communicate findings clearly and professionally to clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders
- Inspect roofing, foundation, HVAC, insulation, windows, and other key home components
- Identify safety hazards, code concerns, and maintenance issues during inspections
- Maintain and operate inspection tools and equipment properly
- Stay current with industry standards, building codes, and best practices
Requirements:
- Valid Maryland Home Inspector license
- Experience in home inspection, construction, contracting, or a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of residential building systems and construction methods
- InterNACHI or ASHI certification is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with inspection report software and mobile technology
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to inspection sites throughout the Southern Maryland area
- Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and customer service orientation
