Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract occupational therapy opportunity is available for a highly motivated professional who enjoys working with school-aged children in an educational setting. This position is located near Petaluma, CA and runs from June 22 through July 17, providing the perfect short-term assignment for those seeking meaningful work and a summer schedule.

The role is structured for 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday, offering flexibility and a balanced work-life experience. As an Occupational Therapist, you will collaborate with educators and families, address student IEP goals, and help children achieve their fullest potential during ESY sessions.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California
• Experience in a school-based OT setting is preferred
• Familiarity with documentation for IEPs and ESY programs
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to motivate and encourage students
• Adaptable and able to work independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary and/or secondary students enrolled in ESY
• Facilitate fine motor, sensory, and self-care skill development according to IEP goals
• Communicate progress with faculty, parents, and support personnel
• Maintain accurate records and document student sessions
• Participate in team meetings as required
