Cath Lab Tech

Schedule: 0700-1530 or 0800-1630, working five days a week with every other weekend required.

Assignment Details: Minimum experience required: 2 years; 1st timers not accepted. Contract details specify a maximum of 7 days RTO. Orientation hours are non-billable and depend on contract length.

Requirements:

• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, CCI RCIS.
• State Licensed if applicable.
• Experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Trauma Level II experience required.
• Familiarity with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac cath lab.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
• Monitor and document patient status during procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations as necessary.

Compliance / Notes: Full compliance is required to start on time; if not compliant in time, the push back is two weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Major holidays are expected to be worked according to the outlined holiday policy.
