Press Operator

Press Operator Location: Nisswa, MN Pay Rate: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour Shift Options: 1st Shift, 6 AM-2 PM, Monday-Friday | 2nd Shift, 2 PM-12 AM, Monday-Thursday Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 3 years of press operator, flexographic printing, or printing production experience preferred. Knowledge of flexographic printing processes, press setup, and machine operation. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic press issues. Ability to read job tickets, production specifications, and work instructions. Strong attention to detail with a focus on print quality and accuracy. Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. regularly, and up to 75 lbs. occasionally. Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Must complete the required Key Assessment pre‑employment testing. Responsibilities & Job Duties Set up and operate flexographic printing presses to production specifications. Review job tickets and verify correct materials, inks, dies, plates, and stock before production. Work with Press Assistants to complete press setup and job changeovers efficiently. Monitor print quality, color registration, die cuts, and label consistency throughout production. Record production data, material usage, and job completion information in LabelTrax. Perform basic press troubleshooting and communicate production issues to supervisors. Move completed product to the finishing department and prepare equipment for the next production run. Maintain accurate production records and quality documentation. Keep presses and work areas clean while following all safety and housekeeping standards.
