Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a 48-bed emergency department for various acuities and age ranges.
• Deliver nursing care with optimal patient-nurse ratios, typically 1:4, based on acuity.
• Ensure compliance with facility's scheduling and shift requirements, primarily night shifts.
• Employ critical emergency nursing skills, including triage, IV management, and patient monitoring.
• Coordinate with board-certified emergency physicians; utilize hospital resources such as phlebotomy and radiology.
• Maintain adherence to licensure and certification requirements, including ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC.

Qualifications

• Active RN license, or eligibility for licensure in Nebraska at submission.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting required.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system required.
• Past experience in Trauma Level I centers essential.
• Must be nicotine-free, compliant with the facility's policies.
