Sterile Processing Technician

Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring Sterile Processing Technician

Position type: Full-time - Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Waxahachie, TX
Shift: 5x8s, Mon-Fri, 10.00 -18.30 (PM)

As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will:

• Prepares rooms and organizes instruments, equipment, treatment trays and supplies for specified departments.
• Cleans and decontaminates instruments, containers and patient equipment using detergents and disinfectant solutions in accordance with regulatory standards and internal policies and procedures.
• Operates semi-automatic and automatic sterilization equipment and washers.
• Inventories, orders, replenishes and distributes instruments, reusable medical equipment and medical supplies for general supplies and surgical carts.
• Maintains and controls inventory.
• Maintains applicable records and files.
• Ensures compliance with safety, environmental, manufacturer and infection control practices. Collaborates in providing in service training.
• Serves as a resource and assists in training and mentoring level 1 Sterile Processing staff

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1-year minimum experience
• Ortho, Spine, Robot

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• BLS (AHA Only), CRCST or CSPDT

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Weekly Pay = $1,300 - $1,480 per week

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
