About this role:

We are looking for a Critical Care Intensivist with a strong background incardiac critical careto work at Intermountain Medical Center, the premier academic medical center and flagship quaternary hospital for Intermountain Health. This state-of-the-art facility currently has 96 ICU beds and 4 specialized ICUs and is in the process of expanding. Intermountain Medical Center is ranked #1 in the United States for MI survival treatment and is a Three Star STS Cardiac Surgery Hospital.

As a physician in the Coronary Intensive Care Unit (CICU) you will work in a 24-bed unit that specializes in the care ofnon-surgicalcardiac patients,includingcardiogenic shock,advanced heart failure, cardiac arrest, STEMI,pulmonaryhypertension,pulmonary embolism,unstable arrhythmias, and percutaneous valvular interventions. The CICUmanagesseveral advanced therapies such aspulmonary artery catheters,CRRT, Impellas, LVADs, IABPs and ventilators.

In this role you can anticipate:

• Providing care in a 24?bedCoronary Intensive Care Unit at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah
\n
• Ten 14.5-hour night shifts permonth; including a mix of shifts mid-week, weekends, and holidays (5PM-7:30AM)
\n
• No call expectation
\n
• An ideal candidate will have experience incardiac critical care
\n

• Competitive Compensation:$480,000.00 annual salary

What youll bring:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
\n
• Residency training in Cardiovascular, Internal Medicine, Anesthesia or Emergency Medicine
\n
• Board certification or eligibility in Critical Care Medicine
\n
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
\n
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Healths credentialing process
\n
