The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the maintenance team to ensure the efficient installation, repair, and upkeep of all machinery and equipment. This role is critical to maintaining optimal equipment performance and minimizing downtime to support overall plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for production equipment and facility support systems
• Guide and support technicians in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment failures
• Utilize CMMS (Maximo) to identify high-wear components and implement preventative maintenance (PM) strategies to reduce unplanned downtime
• Champion and enforce effective use of Maximo across the maintenance team
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment within the maintenance department and across all plant functions
• Coordinate closely with production leadership to schedule and prioritize maintenance activities
• Develop and execute training plans to address skill gaps and improve team performance
• Identify and recommend improvements in production methods, equipment efficiency, and product quality
• Research, justify, and implement capital improvement projects

Qualifications

• Technical degree in a related field preferred
• Proven hands-on experience with industrial systems, including:
• 3-phase electrical controls and devices
• Mechanical systems
• Pneumatics and hydraulics
• Welding and machining
• Prior experience as a Maintenance Manager required (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Pay range and compensation package

• Fantastic base salary of 80K – 100K with performance-based bonus
