Senior Clinical Scientist

Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and monitor internal and external clinical studies including PMA and outcome studies
- Develop study protocols and departmental operating procedures for experiments and documentation
- Identify and qualify external clinical sites for Abbott-sponsored studies
- Participate in clinical strategy development and cross-functional product development teams
- Ensure timely completion of clinical studies to meet product development and introduction goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent education and work experience
- Minimum 8 years conducting clinical studies or related laboratory skills
- Experience with medical device clinical trials, preferably TAVR
- Knowledge of regulations governing medical devices
- Investigational Device Exemption (IDE) trial experience
- Physician management experience
- Familiarity with external clinical research committees
Compensation: $100,000–$200,000 base
